Central Florida went into happy valley and won by 3 as a 4.5 point underdog last year and now they had to Ireland to face Penn State who is returning 2 less starters than Central Florida. End of the day Penn State may have a major advantage with blue chip QB Christian Hackenberg, but he loses his top two targets and the offensive line returns just 2 starters. Penn State has the second youngest team in the nation, unprove offensive line, no receiver threats, a new coach, and they are traveling in week 1 to play a team with a very good coach in George O'Leary.

These are just too many things to overcome and I don't care if Penn State has the better QB. UCF returns 9 starters on defense that was very good 25th, in opposing pass yards/ attempt, 16th in opposing QB rating, and 46th in rushing yards per carry. UCF has a new QB, but their receivers are loaded and they all have different skills that will help them move the chains. Central Florida also enjoys a significant advantage in special teams that will be the difference in this game.
